- Winter: mild and rainy. Cool and sometimes harsh in the north, rainy in the west, winter is relatively dry and sunny in the Aegean islands
- Summer: Dry and hot, extends from mid-May to mid-September, the daytime temperature then commonly reaches 30°C with peaks of up to 38C°. On the other hand, the nights are generally cool.
- Spring and Autumn: good weather alternates with showers causing frequent temperature swings are short seasons.

The formalities
Vaccines :
It is advisable to update the usual vaccinations:
- Diphtheria-tetanus-poliomyelitis (DTP)
- Rubella
- Mumps
And more particularly measles (MMR)
Preventive vaccination against hepatitis A and B as well as malaria may be recommended, as well as vaccination against typhoid fever, or meningococcus, and possibly rabies, depending on the duration and conditions of the stay.
Regarding Covid-19...
There are no restrictions.

Transport is free for the blind and their guides in Athens; they also benefit from a 50% reduction in the other cities of the country.
The metro and trains have been adapted for blind people, but the capital's traffic lights are not equipped with audible alarms.
In general, the daily life of people with disabilities in Athens is complicated and a large number of blind people use taxis to get around.
